The Courtline Pickleball Bootcamp is a dynamic two-day intensive training experience designed for players ready to go all-in. Whether you’re an advancing beginner or an intermediate player, this bootcamp is structured to push you, challenge you, and set you up for long-term success. Over two action-packed days, you’ll refine your skills, improve your physical conditioning, and gain a deeper understanding of how to move and compete effectively.

What to Expect

Our bootcamp is more than just drills—it’s a complete physical and mental workout. Each session seamlessly blends fitness conditioning with on-court training, so you’ll not only build strength and endurance but also develop smarter, more efficient habits that translate directly to your performance.

Key Training Areas

  • Strength & Mobility: We’ll begin each day with guided stretching to increase flexibility, prevent injuries, and prepare your body for high-intensity movement. You’ll perform exercises focused on your legs, core, and arms—the three key power zones in pickleball. Strong legs improve stability and explosive movement, a strong core helps with balance and shot control, and arm strength gives you consistency and precision.
  • Footwork Development: Footwork is the foundation of efficient movement. Through a progression of drills, you’ll learn how to move faster, stop and start with control, and recover into balanced positions. This includes split-step timing, lateral shuffles, and quick recovery steps that mimic real-game scenarios.
  • Ready Position & Recovery: Every great rally starts with an effective ready position. You’ll learn the proper stance that prepares you to react quickly and, most importantly, how to recover back to that stance after each shot. Mastering this habit creates consistency and sharpens your ability to stay in control during long points.
  • Positioning & Court Awareness: We’ll teach you how to recognize and occupy optimal positioning both at the baseline and at the non-volley zone. You’ll work through shadowing drills that help you anticipate where to move before the ball arrives, giving you a crucial competitive edge.

Planning Your Bootcamp

A Personalized Approach to Planning

Hosting a bootcamp with us is a collaborative and straightforward process. We work closely with you from start to finish to ensure a smooth and successful event.

The hallmark of our clinic experience is the personal attention you receive from Letha, who, in addition to coaching, is our dedicated business manager. Letha’s top priority is your satisfaction and understanding, and she will be your main point of contact throughout the planning process.

Getting Started

To secure your preferred dates, we recommend beginning the planning process 1-3 months in advance. The further out you plan, the greater the likelihood that your desired dates will be available.

Step-by-Step Bootcamp Planning

Letha will guide you through each of these steps to prepare for your clinic:

  1. Determine Your Venue: Early awareness of the venue will be important to ensure that it meets the special criteria for the bootcamp.
  2. Determine Your Group Size: Plan your clinic with an intended number of participants. Our small-group format is designed for optimal learning, with a maximum of 16 participants per clinic session.
  3. Schedule Your Courts: Ensure your facility has the appropriate number of courts. We maintain a high standard for quality instruction with a ratio of no more than 4 participants per court.
  4. Plan for Contingencies: If your courts are outdoors, Letha will work with you to plan for poor weather or other unforeseen circumstances to ensure your clinic can proceed smoothly.
  5. Identify Participants: Once scheduled, you will provide Letha with a list of specific participants, including their name, email, and phone number, for enrollment purposes. To help us tailor the instruction, please also include their approximate skill level (e.g., 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, etc.).

Logistics & Scheduling

Bootcamp Duration: Clinic sessions are typically 2-3 hours long, but this duration can be customized to fit your specific needs.

Daily Scheduling: Plan for 2 full days, each with a 3 hour morning session, 1 hour lunch, and 2 hour afternoon session. A 1 hour period for setup and tear-down will also be needed at the beginning and end of each day, so plan for 8 hours for the host and our coaching teamoot.

Seasonal Availability: Our clinic schedule is tailored to offer you the best possible experience based on location and time of year.

November through March: Phoenix, AZ, region
May through September: Coeur d’Alene, ID, region
April and October: California, Oregon, Utah, southern Idaho, and Nevada
